With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald William Klein of Canton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Donald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donald leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emmet Klein and Pearl Klein (Loder); his wife Peggye; his siblings, Dorothy Wolfe and Robert Klein; and his children, Mary Klein of Canton, Janice Utz (Christopher) of Michigan, Thomas Klein of Canton and Kevin Klein (Jennifer) of Canton. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lamiell Funeral Home (1353 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44703). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church (2427 Tuscarawas St W, Canton, OH 44708).
