He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sponseller and Nettie Sponseller (Gordon); and his brother Eugene Sponseller. He is survived by: his wife Vera Sponseller (Gheen); his children, Donald E. "Rick" Sponseller (Cindy), Jeff Sponseller (Tony Parsons) and Pam Grissett (Dirk); his grandchildren, Eric Sponseller (Beth), Mandy Domer (Adam), Becky McDaniel (John), Grace Grissett and Zane Grissett; and his great grandchild Jacob Sponseller.
