She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carte and Sybil Carte (Means); her husband Luther Dolan; her daughter Carol Jean; and her grandson Jason Dolan.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Mayle (Rod) of Canton, Evelyn Wittenmyer (Dan) of Tennessee, Marge Mullen (Paul) of Phillipi, John Dolan (Sarah) of Leetonia and Bill Dolan (Teresa) of Salem, Ohio; and her sisters, Alice Carte-Cox of Hurricane and Irma Yokum of Vienna. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home (2257 Mahoning Rd NE, Canton, OH 44705). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens of Louisville (2698 Broadway Ave NE, Louisville, OH 44641).
