He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schmalzl and Ruth Schmalzl (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Holly Schmalzl (Ramsey); his stepchildren, Stacy Bruey (Eric White) and Sam Boccuti (Jessica); and his siblings, Bill Schmalzl (Carol) and Linda Lawrence.
