He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Maurer and Elizabeth Ann Maurer (Scott); and his siblings, Gene Maurer, Geraldine Warner, Twilamaye Iceman and Thelma Decker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Knickerbocker (Bob), Cindy Callahan (David) and Marlene Noles (Steve); his grandchildren, Jarrod Hermann (Amber), Sarah Wymer (Justin), Jesse Callahan, Tori Petrime (Mike), Bailey Noles and Tyler Noles; and his great grandchild Knox Hermann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, in which the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude for Duane's tremendous care.
