He was predeceased by: his father Earl Sr. Mayle; his grandson Eian Simmons; and his stepson Victor Cutshall. He is survived by: his wife Betty Mayle (Floom); his daughters, Cindy Sedlock (Clarence), Pamela Simmons (Richard) and Cathy Kanters (Andy); and his stepsons, Robert Cutshall (Kathy) and Billy Cutshall (Tammie). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
