Edith L. Chatto Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 26, 2025, at the age of 83, Edith L. Chatto of Canton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Green and Henrietta Green (Tyson); her son Edward; her sisters, Ashley Lewis (David) and Maxine Lister (Jack); and her brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Dort.
She is survived by: her family, Dee, John, Little and Park; her husband John J.; her children, John C. Chatto of Powell, OH, Deanne Parker (John Grattino) of Montville, OH and Debbie Wightman (Rich) of Canton; her grandchildren, Caitlin Herman (Stephen), Keira Petroff (Mitch), Craig Miller (Amaya), Jamie Edwards (Amanda), Rebecca Parker, Rich Wightman and Lilly Wightman; her great grandchild Aria; and her sister Patricia Dort of Parish, FL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any local food pantry of your choosing.
