With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elva M. Cupp (Canton, Ohio), who passed away on December 27, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Bittinger and Bertha Bittinger; her former husband Clarence Addison Wilt; her siblings, Edith Rounds, Marlene Bittinger, Cecil, Junior, Forrest and Stanley Bittinger; and her sons-in-law, Steven McCrea and Gary Clegg.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Cupp; her children, Katherine McCrea, Ruby Laher (Dave) and Terry Wilt (Debra); her grandchildren, Kristina McCrea, Deana McCrea, Jason Powell (Heather) and Joshua Powell (Koleen); and her sisters, Norma Wilt and Dean Filsinger. She is also survived by three great grandsons; one great granddaughter; two great-great grandsons.
Elva M. Cupp, age 92, passed peacefully on December 27, 2025 at the Gardens of Belden after fighting Alzheimer's for the past 12 years.
