He is survived by: his children, Teri Chester and Ervie Strickland, Jr.; his siblings, Ronnie Strickland, Dwayne Strickland and Pamela Hood; his grandchildren, LaTrell Tate, LaNiyah Tate and DeMontay Strickland; and his great grandchild Nayeli Tate. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
