It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Jean Thomas of Canton, Ohio, born in Amsterdam, Ohio, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert McAbier and Louise McAbier; her husband Kenneth E. Thomas; and her brother Richard McAbier. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas O. Thomas (Larisa) of Canton, Timothy R. Thomas of Canton, Todd L. Thomas (Jodi) of Paris and Tyrone R. Thomas (Janet) of Massillon, Ohio; and her siblings-in-law, Donald "Gene" Thomas and Anita McAbier. She is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
