She was predeceased by: her parents, Kyriakos "Peter" Papadopoulos and Effie Papadopoulos (Yossifides); her husband John Kotanides (Dutch); her son Peter John (PJ); her siblings, Chrysostomos, Alice Samartgedes and Sylvia Papadopoulos; her nephew David Smith; her great-nephew Nathan; and her siblings-in-law, Sophia, Parthena Kotanides, Andy Mottas and Steve Samartgedes.
She is survived by: her children, Karen, Karl and Lori Kotanides; her sisters, Argery Giavasis (Phil), Kay Smith and Tina Fortune (Jerry); her sisters-in-law, Maroula Mottas and Elbus Kellamis (Chris); her grandchildren, Troy Kotanides and Shayla Lamport (Reid); her godchildren, Gregory Smith and Diana Kuty (Fortune); and her uncle Sam Yossifides.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Evelyn's name may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
