He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnet Perks and Della Perks (Haney); his son Everett Jr. "Buddy"; his siblings, Fannie Strawderman, Maggie Strawderman, Ada Taylor, Margaret Gates, William and Russell Perks; and his son-in-law Anthony Flex.
He is survived by: his wife Dovie Perks (Thornhill); his children, Catherine Moore (Richard), Anita Flex (Mark McNutt) and Thomas Perks (Tammera); his grandchildren, Megan Cooper, Ashley Barkheimer and Chad Moore; his great grandchildren, Lily Ruth, Capri Pearl "Rosie" Cooper and Brandon Stallman; his siblings, Jim Perks and Martha Alkire; and his friend Charlie Shahan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home (4041 Cleveland Ave SW, Canton, OH 44707). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
