He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Abel; his wife Revecca Abel; and his daughter Debbie Abel. He is survived by: his daughter Nikki Papoulides of Canton; his grandchildren, Joshua Teeple, Tasho Abel-Mohr and Kosta Karelis; and his cousin Pano Karelis.
