She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence D. Cooper and Pauline Gibson Cooper; her husband James R. Thompson; and her sisters, Ola Mae, Emma Lou Thompson, Beverly Howell and Juanita Whitehouse.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law John Whitehouse of Canton; her siblings, Geri Long of Carrollton, Carol Myers of Scio and Clarence Cooper (Marla Frazier) of Minerva; her children, Judy Wheeler of Canton, Barb Ianni (Tony) of North Canton, Ed Thompson (Perla) of Louisiana and Shari Prescott of Bath; her grandchildren, Rita Thompson (Ryan Baker) of Canton, Rachel Prescott (Jon Vondriska) of Bath, Sara Prescott of Bath, Jenamarie DuBois of John DuBois, D. D. S., Jimmy Ianni of Hudson, Maria Thompson, Carmen and Juan Thompson of Ciudad; and her great grandchildren, Niko Prescott, Jameson Baker, Isabella Vondriska, Adalina DuBois, Emelia DuBois, Finnegan Vondriska and Liam Baker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
The family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the caring staff at Windsor Medical for the kind and gentle approach they've taken over the past three years as they've cared for our mother, especially during Covid when we couldn't be there with her.
