Gary Nicholson Obituary
We announce the death of Gary Nicholson of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 83. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryson Nicholson and Jean Cole (Nicholson); and his brother Larry Cole. He is survived by: his wife Darlene "Tootie" Nicholson; his children, Jodi Pons and Michael Nicholson (Maia); his granddaughter Gianna Pons; and his siblings, Sheila Yanuck (Stan), Dale Nicholson (Cynde), Robert "Bo" Cole (Linda) and Randy Cole (Cyndi). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
