He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Albert Martin and Kathleen McGlennon (Davis); his significant other Lily May; his former wife Janet Martin; and his siblings, Judy, Blain, Gale and Roy Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Monique Winland (David), Kelly Walker (Mike), Greg Kurtz (Marcia), Christy Schroeter (Andy) and Thomas Martin (Erica); and his grandchildren, Jessica Neuman, Nathan Radland, Nicole Sergiychuk, Debra Counsell, Grace Dale, Joshua Kaczkielo, Zachary Winland, Jolene Winland, Alicia Boda, Max Schroeter (Claire Steiner) and Lea "The Sugarplum" Schroeter. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (349 Lindy Ln Ave NW, North Canton, OH 44720).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Food Bank at Zion Lutheran Church.
