He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Grimes; his wife Donna Grimes (Crowl); and his siblings, Betty Weaver, Mildred Johnson, Kenneth, Richard and Joe Grimes.
He is survived by: his children, Chere Torres (Luis) of Nazerano, Mexico, Carolyn Ball (Austin) of Cincinnati and Chris Grimes (Malia) of High Point, NC; his sister Jean Ferguson of Alliance; and his grandchildren, Eva, Joshua, Michelle and Suzy.
