She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Rininger and Hazel Rininger; her husband Herman R. Hein; and her brothers, Ralph, Pete, Paul L. and Otto Jr. Rininger.

She is survived by: her children, Lester Sr. Hein (Hope), Allen Hein (Robyn), Homer Hein, Patricia Crews (Calvin) and Rosemary Baldridge (Billie); and her brother Robert Rininger (Lenora). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
