With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Nunez of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on May 14, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Maxine; and his siblings, Joe Nunez and Helen Nunez. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Ron Nunez (Dawna), Kelly Kirkbride (Eric), Chad Nunez (Julie Esack), Julie Beeghley (Matt) and Daniel Núñez; his grandchildren, Lauren, Morgan, Beau, Emma, Cady, Harley and Athena; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Jaxon, Raegan, Cameron, Mason and Octavia; his sister Delores of Oklahoma; and his friend Paul (Gerry Hammond).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home (1803 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
