He was predeceased by: his father Michael McDonnell; his wife Janet; and his brother Dan. He is survived by: his granddaughter Shannon McDonnell; his children, Mary McDonnell and Michael McDonnell (Patricia); his granddaughter Colleen McDonnell; and his siblings-in-law, Karen McDonnell, Lauri Hasselwander and John Vitton (Mary Lee). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
