It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert W. Yoos Jr. in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Herbert has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sr. Yoos and Alice Giddings Yoos; his siblings, Nancy and Clinton; and his wife Pamela Jean Yoos (Green).
He is survived by: his daughters, Sally Jeanette Yoos (North Canton) and Christine Lauren Rosati Yoos (Robert Rosati) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Jakob Herbert and Lily Lauren Rosati Yoos of Indianapolis, IN; his sibling's children, Alison and Clinton Yoos; and his close friend Dr. Joseph Surmitis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel (801 Pittsburg Ave NW, North Canton, OH 44720). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
