She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith (Jack) and Geraldine Smith (Gerrie); her sister Susan Hamo; and her nephew Mark Hamo. She is survived by: her sons, Dominic Conte (Brooke) and Michael Conte (Guenna); her grandson Henrik Conte; her cousins, Paul Gitnik and Peter Gitnik; her sibling's children, Beth Hamo, RJ Hamo (Tam) and Chip Hamo (Christine); and her brother-in-law Ron Hamo.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home (500 E Exchange St, Akron, OH 44304).
