It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Simms of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Simms; and his daughter Tamara Simms. He is survived by: his wife Ruthanne Simms (Fernandez); his children, Eric Bernhardt (Alicia), Shannan Simms, Lexi Simms and Richelle Kline (Kris); his grandchildren, Ethan, Elliot, Scarlet, Sabrina, Sofia, Joshua Bolin (Danielle) and Kaylla Wackerly; and his great grandchild Leighdi.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim's honor may be made to Mercy Medical Center or the Willowdale Lake Men's Club.
