He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel II and James Donohue II; his parents-in-law, Edna and Antonio Cardinale; and his brother-in-law Salvatore Cardinale (Theresa).

He is survived by: his children, James Charles Donohue IV (Katy), Dr. Thomas Donohue (Kerstin), Kristen Guardado (Vince) and Kelly Petkunas (Jim); his grandchildren, Megan, Hayley, James V., Elaine, Thomas, Vincent, Nicholas, James, Alexandria and Christina; and his sister-in-law Lillian Garelli (Michael). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in Jim's name to Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center in Chagrin Falls, Ohio where Jim took his granddaughter Megan riding every Wednesday for many years (http://www.fieldstonefarm.org or mail donations to Fieldstone Therapeutic Riding Center - 16497 Snyder Rd. Chagrin Falls, OH 44023).
