James E. Mylius Sr. Obituary

James E. Mylius, Sr. 92 passed away at home June 2, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born April 25, 1931 to Oscar and Myrtle (Matchet) Mylius. He graduated from Lehman High School in 1950 and served in the US Air Force from 1950-1954. On June 23, 1956 James married Virginia (Ginny) Branch and celebrated close to 67 years of marriage. He worked for Ameritech and retired in 1989 after 33 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Roberta Eshelman Oden and brothers Ralph and Harold Mylius. He is survived by his wife Ginny; sons James Jr, Daniel (Tina), and Michael (Beth); grandchildren Ryan, Kristen, Kara, Dustin, Danielle, and Nicholas; great grandchildren Chelsea, Carter, Carlee, Carmen, Katie, Scotty, Susan, Everett, and Avery; great-grandchild Weston James; brother-in-law Paul Branch, and many loving nieces and nephews. As per Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. A celebration of his life may be held at a later date. Thank you to Aultman Hospice for their loving care.
