He is survived by : his wife Geri Hindmarsh (Doto); his children, James Hindmarsh (Billie), Kathy Martin and Robert Hindmarsh; his grandchildren, Krissy Estes (Derick), Jenny Tillman, Keeley Faith, Gunnar, Cole, Hannah, Jordan Hindmarsh, Jessie Emerling (Jake), Jeni Witzberger (Matt) and James Watson (Jess); his great grandchildren, Destinee, Tavarius, Kaitlyn, Colton, Elle, Robert, Emma, Noah, Gracie, Camryn, Gavin, Will, Weslyn and Jason; and his sisters, Carol Lee, Nancy Spielman, Sandy McConnell (Ron), Mary Burley and Debra Trikilas (Sam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
