He was predeceased by : his parents, Phillip McDermott and Helen McDermott (Glancy). He is survived by : his daughter Stefanie Best; his grandsons, Austin and Garrett Best; his sister Phyllis Morrison; and his nieces, Cheryl Morrison and Dawn Morrison (Scott).
