With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet A Horst of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on October 13, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Strasser and Martin Strasser of Canton; and her siblings, William, Gerry Strasser and Marge Strauss.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Sonny" Horst; her sisters, Jayne Clugston and Judy Sutton; her children, Lori Shaheen (Joe), Tom Horst (Leslie) and Sharon Horst; her grandsons, Jason Horst (Sara), Michael Shaheen (Meagan) and Justin Horst (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Myra, Emma Horst, Landon, Silas Shaheen, Austin and Mallory Horst. She is also survived by great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SS Mission in Nigeria or St. Michael's Hope Ministry both of which can be directed to the church.
