He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Swallen and Caroline Swallen (Cholley); his wife Barabara of Geneva; his brothers, Donald and Robert Swallen; and his daughter Lynne.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Swallen of Canton Ohio and Julie Hubble (David) of Cincinnati Ohio; and his grandchildren, Drew Swallen (Kimberly), Hillary Schmid (Alex), Claire Harned (Hank), Kelsey Grove (Joe), Holly Meyers (Richard) and Jay Hubble. He is also survived by his cousins, nieces, nephews and later in life his 4 great grandsons.
