He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Bolek and Mary Bolek (Selko); his son Aaron James Bolek; his stepmother Geraldine Bolek; his brothers, Frank Bolek, William Bolek and Walter Bolek; and his stepsister Bonnie Ronske.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Jennifer Prosser (Ryan); his granddaughter Penny Prosser; his brother Robert Bolek (Sandy); and his close friend Matthew Gawlak. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Leukemia Research Foundation.
