He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Boggins and Mary Alice Boggins (Murray); his wife Dottie; his brother Joseph C. Boggins; his nephew Brian Roshong; and his brothers-in-law, David Roshong and John Mueller.
He is survived by: his children, John "Jack" V. Boggins, Michael X. Boggins of Roanoke, VA and Rebecca A. Jandrisevits (Gary) of Pinehurst, NC; his granddaughters, Sarah (Zach) and Abigail Boggins; and his sisters, Mary Mueller and Theresa Roshong. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Our family would also like to pass along our sincere thanks to Bethany Nursing Home for taking exceptionally good care of John and for always going the "extra mile" in facilitating communication—even in the midst of the pandemic.
