He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Leasure and Shirley A. Leasure (Baughman); and his siblings, Vicki A. Guthrie and William C. Leasure. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Leasure of Canton, Teresa Winter (Dean) of East Canton and John F. Leasure IV (Danielle) of Minerva; his grandchildren, Christopher Neidert, Jason Neidert, Miranda Winter, Kyle Renz, Jorden Leasure, Ethan Leasure, Bryce Leasure, Dominic Leasure, Kenneth Winter, Jr., Aubriauna Shoenfelt and Nevaeh Leasure; and his siblings, Cynthia L. McCauley of Canton, Glenn A. Leasure of Canton and Timothy E. Leasure of Brigham City, UT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
