He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hickman and Margaret Hickman (Thornburg); and his siblings, Michael Hickman and Lou Ann Redd. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" Hickman; his children, Robert Hickman, Pamela Keel (Brian) and Deborah Sanshuck (David); his grandchildren, Caroline, Andrea, Wyatt, Garrett Hickman, Kevin (Rachel), Nathan, Emma, Abby, Lilly Keel, Tyler, Shelby, Travis and Savannah Dumire; his great grandchildren, Matthew and Sylvia Keel; and his nieces, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Margaret.
