He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Strebel (Scott) and James Penland (Therese); his grandchildren, Steven Penland (Mandy), Kyle Phillabaum, Jamie Rhoades (Nathan) and Joshua Penland (Alexis Simpson); and his siblings, Randal Penland (Barbara), Marie Tabellion, Patricia Tyler and Paula Penland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; a special friend.
