We announce the death of John H Salmen of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 87. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. John will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. John’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was predeceased by: his brother Jerome Salmen; his son-in-law Cary Warstler; and his granddaughter Shannon Warstler. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Wallick (Robert), Tammy Warstler and Dwaine Salmen (Pam); his granddaughter Amy Dolph (Guy); and his great grandchildren, Abbi (Joe), Freya (Dylan), Kyleigh and Aryan Dolph. He is also survived by his 3 great great grandchildren.
