He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Thompson and Jackie Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughter Kellie; his brother Doug (Laura Thompson); his nieces and nephews, Stacey and Wendy; his sister-in-law Diane Papadeonise; his nephew Jeff (Samantha); his great-nephew Luke; his siblings-in-law, Sandy and Terry Westfere; and his nephews, Nathan and Zachary (DeAnna Trubisky). He is also survived by spouses and children.
