He was predeceased by: his father Donald Young; and his brother Jerry "Dewey" Young. He is survived by: his mother Janice Young; his children, David John Wesley Young and Anne Marie Nava; his grandchildren, Jordan, Scarlett, David Jr. and Donald; and his sister Dawn "Sissy" Mathias.
