She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Gates and Esther Gates (Whitmer); her former husband Ronald Sitzman Sr.; her son Patrick; and her sister Florence.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Smith; her children, Laura Henriques, Linda Clark (Dan), Michael Sitzman, Ronald Sitzman Jr. (Caryn), Rick Smith and Bonnie Severenson; her daughter-in-law Alice Sitzman; and her sisters, Ruth Anne, Lorene and Patricia. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
