He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hanood and Rose Hanood (Yasbeck); his former wife Connie Hanood; his wife Norma Hanood; his brothers, James, Phillip, Louis and George Hanood; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Eckelberry; and his son-in-law Alphonso Restivo.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara Gossett (Daniel), Theresa Huff (Sam), Chamaine Restivo, Joseph Hanood II and James Eckelberry (Lori); his siblings, Joyce Tornero and Paul Hanood Jr.; and his close friend Fran Miller. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
