With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joshua Darnell Minard of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 40. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Cletus Mayle, Eugene and Virginia Minard; his cousin Warren Hess; and his uncles, Keith Mayle and Timothy Mayle (Ronald Mayle).

He is survived by : his wife Shantelle Minard (Hardy); his siblings, Chasity Dalton (Eddie) and Brian Minard (Kasey Poland); his grandmother Elizabeth Mayle; his nieces and nephews, Lexy, Katie, Kylee and Dominic; his great-niece Aunah; his great-nephews, Bryson and Levi; and his pets, Babygirl and Capone. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home (2257 Mahoning Rd NE, Canton, OH 44705-0538). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Canton Freewill Baptist Church (2817 Harmont Ave NE, Canton, OH 44705). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens (2698 Broadway Ave NE, Louisville, OH 44641).
