He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ellison and Opal Ellison (Butcher); his wife Ann; his son Steve Ellison; and his brothers, Bob and Roger Ellison.
He is survived by: his daughter Cathie Ellison (Carla Derr); his sister Norma Burkholder; and his friend Yvette Yohe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in his name to the Palace Theatre in Canton.
