She was predeceased by: her parents, John Santangelo and Filomena Santangelo; her husband William "Bill" Stankus; her great grandchild Ainsley Paige Higgins; and her siblings, Joseph, Dominic, Jerry Santangelo and Anna Delrosso.

She is survived by: her daughter Anita Severtis Sr. (Ronald) of North Canton; her grandchildren, Lisa Higgins (Matthew) of St. Lake, Shawna DeVoe (Dan) of North Canton and Ronnie Severtis of Jeffersonville, IN; and her great grandchild Laurel DeVoe.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lena's name to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 381 Robbins Ave. Niles, Ohio 44446.
