She was predeceased by: her parents, William Anders and Venia Anders; her husbands, Edward Johnson Sr. and Harry Cavitt Sr.; her children, Harry Cavitt Jr. (Yolanda), Edward Johnson Jr., Sharon Harper and Rita Yevonne Johnson; her grandchildren, Andre Minor and Cynthia Bradley; and her great grandchildren, Diamond Johnson and Terrell Ulman.

She is survived by: her daughter Anita Earley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 33 great-great-grandchildren.
