He was predeceased by: his parents, Ohannes Chobanian and Hripsime Chobanian (Paboujian) of Mosul, Iraq.; his son Shant; and his siblings, Aram, Berj and Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Chobanian (Story); his daughter Rita Swisher (Benjamin); and his grandchildren, Miro Ohannes Swisher, Ani Hripsime Swisher and Sosi Lyudmilla Swisher. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
