Boettler and Harold Holshuh (Jake); her siblings, William Holb, Annabelle Caldren, Kathleen Turner, Janice Phillips, Joan Sheffield and Carolyn Pamer; her stepdaughters, Winona Large and Claudia Adomat; and her stepgranddaughter Melanie Large.

She is survived by: her husband John Ricks; her daughter Patricia Boettler Burk (Dan); her stepdaughter Roxanne Ricks; her grandchildren, Lindsey Gainer (Joseph), Haley Burk (Donald), Sedlock, Taylor Lewis (Mat), James and J. R. Coppenger (Josselyn); her great grandchildren, Rhett, John Paul Lewis, Waylon and Wyatt Coppenger; and her siblings, Janet Holbert, Robert Holb (Marilyn) and John Holb. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Marie's memory to Chapel Hill Christian School (South campus) or Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy.
