He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mellinger and Helen Mellinger (Sorrell); and his brother Kit Mellinger. He is survived by: his wife Janice Mellinger (Seifert); his sons, Matthew Mellinger (Lauren) and Nathan Mellinger (Lindsey); and his grandchildren, Amber and Cole.
