He is survived by: his wife Helen Ruth Willett (Willett); his brother William "Bill" Howard Tschantz; his sister-in-law Betty Tschantz; his friend Col. Robert; his daughter Janet Barkas (Nick); his granddaughters, Elizabeth Barkas of Lake Wales, FL and Julianna Wheeler (Josh) of Wilmington, NC; Mary (Paul Sell).
