With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Alice Booker (Canton, Ohio), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on November 15, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington and Cloden Washington; her siblings, Burke Washington, Georgia Morgan, Ruth Ann Washington, Mattie Cole and Betty Clifford; and her granddaughter Ebony Palmer.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Booker; her children, Maurice Washington and Wanda Turner; her cousin Maxine Ruffin; and her close friend Patricia Skinner. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
