He was predeceased by: his mother Ophelia L. Owens (Bell); and his grandparents, Rev. Eugene, Allie Mae Bell, Robert and Effie Owens.

He is survived by: his father Clarence Sr. Owens of Canton; his cousin Cornell Lamar Curtis; and his siblings, Clarence Owens Jr., Keith Owens, Kevin Owens and Geneva "Gigi" Maria Lawal (Minor) of Canton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
