With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Meredith Olivera of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on February 2, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Brahler and Bernetta Brahler (Gerst); her husband Fermin Olivera; and her siblings, Marlene Lutes and Dennis Brahler.
She is survived by: her children, Desiree Waters (Mark), Fermin Olivera (Sue) and Mercedes Zernechel (Michael); her grandchildren, Hunter Waters (Brooke), Dr. Cameron Waters (Sarah), Dr. Caitlin Tocci (Steven), Fermin Olivera (Mia), JJ Olivera (Kendra Gastin), Weston Zernechel (Erin) and Sydney Svetlak (Stuart); her great grandchildren, Laken, River, Saylor Waters, Evangeline Olivera, Leeland and Levee Svetlak; and her sisters, Alpha Gardner and Linda Pratt (Dennis).
